Tell Congress: Support the Veterans’ Bill of Rights Act of 2026
Veterans should never be left in the dark about the care and benefits they earned through their service

America’s veterans earned access to health care, benefits, and support through their service.
But too often, veterans are left navigating a complex and confusing system at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Many do not fully understand their rights, what care they are eligible for, or how to access the benefits they have earned.
When veterans lack clear information, they are more likely to experience delays, frustration, and barriers to care.
The Veterans’ Bill of Rights Act of 2026 (H.R. 7112) would ensure veterans clearly understand their rights when accessing care, benefits, and services through the VA.
The legislation requires the Department of Veterans Affairs to actively inform veterans of their rights and make that information easily accessible.
