America's Foreign Policy Must Change
End Endless Wars: Demand Realism and Restraint in U.S. Foreign Policy
Our nation has lost thousands of lives and trillions of dollars fighting endless wars over the last three decades. Countless more of our nation's veterans return home with physical and mental scars that they will carry for the rest of their lives.
Officials in Washington claim these sacrifices are necessary to maintain America's status as the premier power in the world - but what have our seemingly endless wars in places like Iraq or Syria brough the American people beyond an exploding national debt, a worn-down military, and the creation of further threats to our national security?
It's time for our nation to chart a new course in how we approach the world. We cannot afford to continue burning taxpayer dollars and asking America's sons and daughters to fight and die in conflicts that aren't essential to our nation's security. Washington must approach the world as it is - not how we wish it to be. Our leaders must start acknowledging the trade-offs our country makes when they entangle us in more conflicts that aren't tied to American interests.
Add your name to join us in demanding Washington adopt this approach of realism and restraint to how we approach challenges around the world.
