How can one small step help preserve the future of the American Dream?
Richard Henry Lee made a motion in the Second Continental Congress for American independence from Britain. That motion carried which set in motion two day later the signing of the Declaration of Independence on July 4, 1776.
Join us on June 25 from 1:00 - 1:30 PM EST (10:00 AM PST, 11:00 AM MST, 12:00 PM CST) for a 30-minute virtual conversation exploring how individual steps, when taken alongside others, can shape the future of the American Dream.
In this interactive One Small Step event, we’ll reflect on how Lee’s call for independence was one step when joined by others committed to the principles of freedom, civic duty, and self-governance brought about our free nation.
Together, we’ll explore how small, intentional actions especially when taken with others in your community can grow into movements that drive meaningful change.
You’ll leave with a simple opportunity to take One Small Step by choosing a meaningful civic action, like signing a petition, attending a local meeting, talking with a neighbor, or engaging in your community and putting it into practice.
